Getting Pitch-Ready: A Front-Row Seat to Bold Women Building Bold Businesses
↓
A couple of weeks ago, I shared how thrilled I was to be named Program Director for the inaugural cohort of Getting Pitch-Ready, a powerful initiative by Venprendedoras, sponsored by The Eisner Foundation.
The program was designed for first-generation Hispanic women entrepreneurs in the U.S. who are ready to define their business goals and finally get their strategies funded.

Over two intense, hands-on days, our entrepreneurs worked side by side with coaches and mentors to:
Clarify their business structure and positioning
Rethink their financial models
De-risk their growth strategy with realistic, scalable plans

We wrapped it all up with a pitch event at the Miami Dade College Idea Center, where 10 finalists presented to a room full of bankers and industry leaders.
But this wasn’t your typical pitch competition.
These women didn’t just pitch for applause... they pitched for results:
✅ They articulated their unique market advantage
✅ They laid out a specific, fundable business goal
✅ They showed how investment would drive real growth and profitability
From my seat, it was just as transformative. It helped me distill everything I’ve learned from years of working with scrappy startups and Fortune 500 giants into a curriculum with real, immediate impact.
These women are ready to make the leap, and they deserve to be funded.
Let’s make sure the right people are listening.
