Venprendedoras Names Alejandra Copeland Program Director for Getting Pitch-Ready

Miami, FL — April 2025 — Venprendedoras announced the appointment of Alejandra Copeland as Program Director of Getting Pitch-Ready, a new training initiative supported by The Eisner Foundation. The program is designed to address the persistent barriers first-generation Hispanic women face when seeking funding—and to replace them with skills, confidence, and access.
Launching this April, the inaugural cohort brings together 12 entrepreneurs across industries and generations. Over the course of the program, participants strengthen how they present, position, and defend their businesses—preparing to engage financiers with clarity and conviction.
A Bilingual, Co-Generational Model Built for Real Outcomes
Getting Pitch-Ready stands apart through an innovative, bilingual, and co-generational approach. Entrepreneurs work with coaches and mentors to refine business structure and positioning while building the ability to communicate ideas effectively in both Spanish and English—a critical advantage in investor rooms.
Under Copeland’s direction, the program emphasizes execution over theory and outcomes over optics. The focus is not simply learning to “pitch,” but developing the strategic backbone that makes a pitch credible.
What Makes Getting Pitch-Ready Different
Participants benefit from a curriculum grounded in real-world demands:
Real-world coaching from operators who’ve been in the room
Age-diverse collaboration that multiplies perspective
Business model validation rooted in market reality
Financial fireproofing to withstand scrutiny
Public speaking confidence that translates across contexts
As Program Director, Copeland sets the tone: practical, direct, and results-oriented.
“I’m not here to just teach pitching,” Copeland says. “I’m here to help these women own the room.”
Betting on Talent—and Multiplying Impact
Venprendedoras’ mission is clear: invest in the talent and vision of Hispanic women entrepreneurs so growth compounds across families and communities. Getting Pitch-Ready embodies that commitment by pairing access with accountability—and ambition with structure.
“This is a unique experience,” the organization noted, “and we’ll be sharing more details soon.”
Because when one woman grows, we all grow.
