My Takeaways from the ALX Business Summit in Boston

There are events you attend and then the ones that move you.
I flew to Boston for the We Are ALX Business Summit, and I can say without hesitation: this one hit deep.
I was invited to give a keynote on “Pitching Your Business,” and the room couldn’t have been a better fit.
A reminder that pitching isn’t just about funding — it’s about visibility, clarity, and owning your narrative in rooms that matter.
💡 And that message landed.

Founders, policymakers, community leaders all under one roof, aligned around a powerful theme: Building Generational Wealth.
This summit wasn’t just a business event. It was a call to action.
Throughout the day, we heard powerful insights from leaders like Governor Maura Healey, Commissioner Amy Kershaw, and State Senator Pavel Payano, who each highlighted the critical role of Latinos in the state’s economic growth. Real talk. Real policy. Real stakes.
But what made this summit unforgettable was the people.
I arrived in Boston knowing maybe three attendees… and left with a heart full of new allies.
I loved the deep convos and new connections. That’s the magic of authentic networking:
Shared intent
Real conversations
Long-term impact

Special thanks to Eneida Roman, President & CEO of We Are ALX, for curating such a meaningful experience.
Watching her and her team lead change with clarity and purpose is nothing short of inspiring.
I’ll definitely be back.
Because this isn’t just an event.
It’s a movement.
And I’m all in.
